We talked to Hayden Gillespie, a senior at The University of Texas, to find out the proper way to cook these red little creatures to feed a large party of people. Gillespie cooks all the crawfish and veggies when his fraternity holds crawfish boil parties. He learned to cook from his girlfriend's family, who is originally from New Orleans.

Since Gillespie's fraternity had already held all of their crawfish boils for the year, we decided to shoot our photos for the Soundslide below at the Shoal Creek Saloon on Lamar (you can find where it is on our interactive map). They hold crawfish boils every Tuesday and Thursday evening after five p.m. and all day on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Enjoy!
